The integration provides two distinct, documented paths to transmit customer data from Shopify into 365CRM.
Uses the official Shopify Flow automation engine inside your Shopify store admin to send transaction events upon checkout completion.
Shopify registers the checkout and raises the native Order Created trigger event.
The workflow triggers the Send HTTP request action configured with your CRM endpoint.
Flow securely attaches the crm_api_key secret to authorize the request without exposing keys.
The 365CRM endpoint receives and parses the order event, logging the customer and order details.
Uses a lightweight Liquid & JavaScript snippet inside your Shopify theme to capture inquiries submitted via #ContactForm.
The shopper inputs their name, email, phone number, and message on your Shopify store contact page.
The script sanitizes digits and formats numbers with the configured default country code (e.g. 91).
An asynchronous POST request with keepalive: true transmits the JSON lead payload to 365CRM.
The standard Shopify contact form submission and customer email notification proceed normally.
